Archived Work- Sculpture & Painting from the Last 10 Years

My adventures with clay sculpture began when I was a little girl digging clay out of the creek bank on our farm.  I was re-introduced to it again forty years later when I started making whimsical cows for the Cowichan Bay Farm Show.  One of the pieces was "cow pie" which evolved into a series of pies, cakes and tarts...my food series.

"Chickers" , "Fox and Chickens" and my "Farm Chess Set" were also inspired by the Farm Show and were followed by three more chess sets; a restaurant set that was sold to Sooke Harbour House, the Goldstream set which was exhibited at the Nature House at Goldstream and my Canadiana set.  To view the chess sets, click here.
